HGTV is not really my favorite place --- not because they don't highlight the beauty of interior design and some gorgeous homes but because they have given homeowners very unrealistic expectations of how long and how much home decor, design and renovations really cost and how long they take......   For instance I'm only showing you this article because the very first picture is blog worthy to me.  It showcases a spectacular bedroom with key components :  A great chandelier, seating, custom window treatments and custom bedding.  I could sleep in that relaxing room all day!
